On Sundays at The Clock Inn, Sunday roasts and warm, welcoming service is our specialty. Enjoy locally sourced meats, cooked to perfection, with crisp roast potatoes, seasonal veg, all the trimmings, and our signature special gravy. Takeaway roasts are also available to enjoy at home. Booking is highly recommended!

We take great pride in our Sunday roasts—because here at The Clock Inn, Sundays are all about just that. Each week, we thoughtfully curate a menu centred around one beautifully prepared meat roast and a delicious vegetarian option, allowing us to focus on quality, seasonality, and doing things properly. Expect locally sourced meats from RJ Balson & Son, the oldest family-run butcher in England, with everything sourced within a 20-mile radius and fully traceable from farm to fork. 

Our roasts are cooked to perfection and served with crispy, golden roast potatoes (as they should be), locally farmed seasonal vegetables, all the trimmings, and our signature “Mum’s gravy”. To complete the experience, enjoy a selection of homemade starters and indulgent desserts, all served with the warm, welcoming hospitality that earned us the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2025 and so many wonderful reviews.

And if you’d rather enjoy it at home, our takeaway roasts bring all the joy of a traditional Sunday lunch without the cooking or clearing up—ready to collect fresh and hot at 3:30pm. Be sure to book, as availability is limited.
